„Fragebogen“ is a standard interview with 15 questions around music plus a special task. This time it’s Ignacio Uriarte a.k.a. Lions Head who answers them.
*** Hier geht es zur deutschen Version des Fragebogens ***
First cd: Oasis – „(What’s The Story) Morning Glory“, I think might have been my first record, or „Dookie“ by Green Day.
First concert: First concert on my own was for a friend’s birthday party. We went to see Korn and Staind opened up for them. I will always remember this guy walking away from a mosh-pit all bloody, saying „I’m fine, I’m fine, it doesn’t even hurt“.
First childhood memory related to music: The most vivid memories of my childhood relating to music have to do with performing in the opera or waiting backstage to go on while looking at the audience. I remember those moments very vividly for some reason.
Favourite song at the moment: My favorite pop song at the moment would have to be „Stressed Out“ by 21 Pilots or „Ignition“ by Phoebe Ryan…
A rather embarrassing song you like: Megan Trainor – No
Favourite song among your own: „In between“
Favourite songlyrics: One of my favorite song lyrics has to be „goodbye is too good a word gal, so I’ll just say fare thee well“.
Best concert: Daft punk and Phoenix at MSG, it was incredible.
Worst concert: Weezer at the new York Islanders Arena in Long Island.
Best concert among your own: First time we played to 10.000 or more people was last summer at a radio festival in the north sea. So looking out over the beach, singing, infront of 10.000+ people was quite a feeling and quite a moment.
Vinyl, cd or mp3? Depends on the situation, I like all three!
Download or stream? Again depends on the situation. If I’m just trying to show someone a song it’s easier to stream, if I want to have a song with me on all my devices I usualy download it.
Clubconcert or festival? Festival all the way, there’s nothing like the festival experience, camping, dancing and revelry.
Three songs that really have to be on your mixtape: Lana Del Rey – Million Dollar Man, The Beatles – Strawberry Fields, Bob Marley – Three Little Birds
An album you would NOT take with you to a lonely island: David Guetta – Nothing But The Beat
I took a selfie with the David because it’s arguably the greatest piece of art and it inspires me to make better music.
(And a drawing – well, kind of…)
