„Fragebogen“ is a standard interview with 15 questions around music plus a special task. This time it’s Erik (The Bongo Club) who answers them.
*** Hier geht es zur deutschen Version des Fragebogens ***
First cd: Michael Jackson’s „Greatest hits“ (sold to me by my own brother for 10€.)
First concert: A local punk show in my hometown Borås with a band I can’t remember the name of.
First childhood memory related to music: My dad used to compete with us kids guessing artist and title to MTV-videos. To this day he’s still the best.
Favourite song at the moment: „Velvet Itch“ – Bass Drum Of Death, among lots of other songs with this cool lo-fi garagerock band.
A rather embarrassing song you like: „Computer Love“ – Kraftwerk. Don’t really know if it’s that embarrassing, but recently started to listen to this song like crazy without having a clue what I like about it!?
Favourite song among your own: A track from our coming album that I believe will be called „House Party“.
Favourite songlyrics: „Whatever Happened“ – The Strokes
Best concert: The Bronx at Hultsfred Festival 2012
Worst concert: Since I enjoy going to local shows in Sweden I’ve seen LOADS of shitty metal bands!
Best concert among your own: Positivus Festival 2015 in Latvia! Besides from playing this festival alongside legends such as Kasabian, Placebo etc. – this was just a mad experience! The tent we played was packed and almost from the first chord everyone just lost it. Pure love and energy!
Vinyl, cd or mp3? Vinyl – even though I don’t own too many myself, still the most cool format.
Download or stream? Stream for sure. We use Spotify constantly.
Club concert or festival? Probably clubs! There is something with the raw, in your face experience that you get in the more intimate venues. Both when playing and just going to concerts in general.
Three songs that really have to be on your mixtape:
„Barely Legal“ – The Strokes
„See Through Head“ – The Hives
„Rocket Scientist“ – Teddybears
An album you would NOT take with you to a lonely island: St Anger – Metallica
